About This Event
Our beaches are meant for enjoyment. Instead we face unnecessary debris and waste pollution from all sectors of industry.
Our Impact Day initiative for beach clean up is to recover, rehabilitate and introduce sustainable practices of properly managing waste removal. Including the process of segregation as well as recycling efforts.
Sugar Sand Society appreciates your efforts of volunteering your time and energy. Every hand present has a huge impact on the environment and the community.
If you have work gloves bring ‘em, if not we got you. Mask, Drinking Water and a Hand Cleaning Station will be available. A light snack will be provided at the end of the exercise and you are welcomed to hang on the beach afterwards.
TIME: Please arrive at 7am so that introductions and proper assignment instructions can be delivered.
