- Airport/terminal pickup and transfer to accommodation
- Welcome briefing on Asante culture, community expectations, and weekly schedule
- Light dinner featuring local dishes like banku, tilapia, or jollof
DAY 2 — Full-Day Kente Immersion at Bonwire
- Travel to Bonwire, the birthplace of world-renowned kente
- Meet a master weaver and observe loom setup
- Hands-on weaving lesson—learn basic patterns and how colours represent social meaning
- Opportunity to create and take home your woven strip as a souvenir
- Return to Kumasi for evening rest
DAY 3 — Ahwiaa Craft Village & Ntonso Adinkra Workshop
- Start in Ahwiaa to observe traditional wood carving (royal stools, masks, beads)
- Introduction to carving tools and basic design techniques
- Continue to Ntonso for a full Adinkra textile immersion
- Learn about natural dye extraction from the Badie tree
- Hands-on stamping session to create your personalised Adinkra cloth
- Afternoon community storytelling on Asante symbolism
- Return to Kumasi and optional evening cultural dance class
DAY 4 — Manhyia Palace & Asante Kingdom History
- Guided tour of Manhyia Palace Museum
- Deep dive into the lineage of Asante Kings & Queens
- Conversation with a palace historian on the Golden Stool and Asante governance
- Visit to the Cultural Centre for folklore, handicrafts & drumming
- Free evening and nightlife experience
DAY 5 — Twi Language Class, Naming Ceremony & Community Life
- Morning Twi language class focused on greetings, family terms & simple phrases
- Participate in a customary naming ceremony (symbolic and non-religious; includes meaning of your chosen Asante name)
- Community lunch featuring local dishes
- Late afternoon walk through the neighbourhood and market.
- Evening rest
DAY 6 — Culinary Day: Learn to Make Fufu, Light Soup & Local Dishes
- Shop for ingredients at a local market
- Cooking lesson led by community hosts
- Learn how to pound fufu traditionally using the mortar & pestle
- Prepare light soup, groundnut soup, and simple side dishes
- Free evening
DAY 7 — Lake Bosomtwe Nature & Serenity Tour
- Morning departure to Lake Bosomtwe
- Learn about the lake’s spiritual significance in Asante cosmology
- Canoe ride or lakeside walk
- Relaxation time at a lakefront eco-spot
- Farewell lunch
- Return to Kumasi for departure
