Oguaaman: Feature Film

Oguaa often referred to as Cape Coast is the capital of Oguaaman (The Nation of Oguaa) and the Capital of then Gold Coast present day Ghana. The Ancient Kingdom of Oguaa has been a tourist destination but little is known of the people of Oguaa other than the history of enslavement. This film explores the people’s narrative and perspective about their political, spiritual, societal and migration history of what is now the Fante people of Oguaaman and Akan.
