About This Event
The American Heart Association’s Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course strengthens frontline readiness for high-stakes pediatric emergencies. The curriculum equips clinicians and first responders with advanced assessment, airway management, rhythm recognition, pharmacology, and coordinated resuscitation skills to optimize outcomes for critically ill or injured children.
What the PALS Course Covers
- Assessment of a seriously ill or injured child
- Airway management and ventilation
- Recognition & treatment of life-threatening pediatric arrhythmias
- Clinical ECG interpretation & pharmacology
- Multi-rescuer team dynamics
- Skills testing & theory examination
Certification
Participants receive an AHA PALS Provider Course Completion Card, valid for 2 years, upon successful completion of all requirements.
