SOCIAL THURSDAY
Social Thursdays are dedicated days at the British Council to promote social enterprise in Ghana.
The British Council will host the first of its Social Thursday event series from Wednesday, 30th August to Thursday 31st August 2017, 10 am to 8 pm each day.
The goal of this event is to assist social entrepreneurs with the needed skill sets to create impact and profit in their businesses. Social entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to explore solutions to the challenges faced in generating profit and impact in their businesses. The event will also present an avenue for the general public to attend a talk on the theme, “IMPACT AND PROFIT’’. This talk is expected to uncover how to effectively measure and communicate impact as a social enterprise, as well as how to deliver impact in a profitable way.
This event is hosted in partnership with SE Ghana.

- Exhibitions at the foyer of the British Council, Accra, Ghana. Time: 10am to 6pm
- Business Clinics from Skills Hub Time: 3 pm to 5 pm:

- PwC – Business Planning and Book keeping
- STL Ghana – IT Support
- Impact Hub – Impact Measuring
- Pitching competitions at the main auditorium. Time: 6pm to 8pm
Date: Thursday 31st August 2017
- Exhibitions at the foyer of the British Council, Accra, Ghana. Time: 10am to 6pm
- Digital Skills Training for the social entrepreneurs. Time: 11am to 2pm
- Speed dating interactions & Business Mentoring sessions at the gardens over drinks with small chops. Time: 3pm to 5pm
- “IMPACT AND PROFIT’’ Talk. Time: 6pm -8pm
