Ghana’s Youth Creatives Score Tax Break

Ghana’s Youth Creatives Score Tax Break

Young entrepreneurs under 35 in Ghana’s creative industries now enjoy a five-year tax holiday, thanks to a new incentive from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). This move is designed to boost innovation and job creation in music, digital arts, film, and more.

After the tax-free period, these young creatives benefit from reduced tax rates — only 15%, or even 12.5% if operating outside major cities. This supportive policy also extends to youth-led ventures in tourism, horticulture, and manufacturing, promising a brighter future for Ghana’s emerging talent.
