Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie recently led a heartfelt delegation to celebrate Ghana's highlife icon, Agya Koo Nimo, in Kumasi. This visit, held on June 25, marks a significant move to honor creative arts legends as part of a national initiative.

Joined by her team, including Deputy Yussif Jajah and Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Minister Gomashie praised Agya Koo Nimo's profound impact on Ghanaian music and culture. Known as the β€œKing of Palmwine Music,” he has skillfully blended traditional rhythms with modern storytelling, leaving a lasting legacy.

During the visit, Gomashie emphasized the importance of recognizing artists while they are still alive, ensuring their contributions to culture are celebrated and preserved for future generations.
