Nigerian actor Segun Arinze recently spoke out on the controversy surrounding a Nigerian man claiming to become an Igbo king in Ghana. On Hitz FM, he emphasized the importance of respecting Ghana’s sovereignty and laws when living abroad, warning against overstepping boundaries in a foreign land.
The issue arose after reports of plans to build an Igbo village in Ghana, complete with a palace and community facilities. Local Ghanaian authorities denied recognizing such claims and urged respect for their traditions. The man involved later clarified the project was canceled years ago and apologized for any confusion.
