Uganda is set to host the 2025 East African Community (EAC) Games from December 5 to 17, marking a major regional sports event. Preparations are in full swing, with a joint committee scheduled to finalize logistics soon under the EAC Secretariat’s guidance. Teams from all nine member states, including Somalia, will get access to dedicated training facilities ahead of the competitions.
The announcement was made during a key regional conference in Kampala, where leaders highlighted the role of innovation and youth in shaping Africa’s future. Uganda’s focus on infrastructure and support for science and technology promises a vibrant and well-organized event, reflecting the region’s growing unity and ambition.
