Youth Empowerment Through Arts & Culture

Tourism Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie has doubled down on her promise to empower young Ghanaians by expanding platforms in arts, culture, and creative expression. Highlighting the government's commitment under President John Dramani Mahama, she spoke at the National Heritage Photo Competition Awards, emphasizing how creative outlets like photography, dance, and art can drive national development.

The competition, in partnership with UNESCO, invites youth under 25 to showcase Ghana’s rich heritage through powerful visual storytelling. The event also featured captivating performances and drew dignitaries from across the globe, reflecting the growing importance of youth-led cultural initiatives in shaping Ghana's identity.
